So SimpleBlog has been a huge success after only 1 week. And this made me think about a portfolio theme based on this design. As the blog theme, something simple not to fancy maybe a slider and some widget areas. You know something that gets the job done.
Loading ...So please vote and leave a comment letting me know what features you would like from a portfolio theme. Just need all the input possible.
UPDATE
Since i started the poll i actually started designing the portfolio of SimpleBlog, and i have to say its starting to look good. The thing about the new design is that it uses A LOT of javascript. The design process of this theme has concluded and last night i started actually coding it. Currently I'm still finishing the (x)HTML version of it but it already looks good. Here's a small list of the features so far
- Using Javascript for round corners rather then images
- Front page slider and widget area to give a professional look
- Multi level navigation. (SimpleBlog lacks this feature because of lazyness)
- Cufon for font replacement
- Full Width page template
As you can see its mostly javascript on the SimpleBlog theme. I have thought of some other things to add with WordPress, but i need to finish the HTML before even mentioning those. Might even post some screen-shots soon.

I would prefer a newer version of SimpleBlog but I looking forward to test SimplePortfolio aswell!
