This theme is just a test, it has been a while since i actually did a WordPress theme, I'm hopping that my skills gets better with this series of Playground themes.

Hi, your template is great, but I can’t get thumbs to work. I’m using wp post thumbnail plugin. I always get no image thumb.Can you give some info how to fix that?

@Matan to get the thumbs to work, you need to add the complete url of the image to a custom field named “thumb”

Thank you Omar for you fast reply. I set custom field name to thumb and now i can see all thumbs created by wp post thumbnail. Can you tell me one last thing- how to make thumbnails clickable?

Matan to make thumbnails clickable open index.php and before line 8 add the link tag and dont forget to close it after line 12 i would put the code my self but wordpress wont let me lol

Cool theme, currently using it, just can’t get links to be active in preview. When I click to “read more” they are active but I also want them active in the summary also?

Sorry Omar, I’ll try again. In the image of the playground design at the top of this page, you can see the blog entries in the left column. I was calling these the blog preview. When I post a blog that has urls or links in it, I want the user to be able to click on the link in that blog preview window. At the moment, the only way the links become active is for someone to click ‘continue reading’ to see the full blog entry. Hope I am clear?

ahh ok i get what your trying to do, the thing is that in index.php on line 13 you will see the_excerpt(); replace this with the_content(); this will show the complete post in that page with all links and images clickable/viewable. but that will ruin the whole structure of the theme. Might want to read up on the_excerpt() and the_content() from wp doc page.

neno, about the widget, this should be a bug on your side. The demo is using widgets and it does not get any errors.
As for the translation in my themes i use WordPress’ function to list comments wp_list_comments() so you should read up on that function to learn how to translate it.

Sorry for now there’s only support for the currently logo, if you want title and description will have to figure it out your self.

Isparmo I’m sure it does influence SEO but i didn’t make this theme thinking in SEO so if you would like better SEO in this theme hire a SEO expert to pimp it out for you.
